Your IcePanel data doesn’t exist in a vacuum. It often needs to be shared wherever your team works. Today, we’re releasing several improvements to exports — the ability to scope exports and new file formats (Markdown, HTML, Structurizr, and LLMs.txt).
What’s new? ✨
Scoped exports
PDF exports can now be scoped down to the domain, model object, or diagram. JSON exports can also be filtered down to the diagram.
New export formats
We also added 4 new file formats for exporting — Markdown, HTML, Structurizr, and LLMs.txt. The LLMs file is optimized for LLMs to better understand your IcePanel data. Use it to chat and ask questions about your architecture.
Why did we ship this? 🤔
Filtering and scoping exports were top community requests. Oftentimes, only sections of a landscape need to be shared with your team.
We’ve seen a lot of immediate value in being able to ask LLMs questions about your architecture in natural language (check out our MCP server if you haven’t yet). This structured format is designed to help LLMs understand your model so it can provide quick and accurate answers.
Release week (Day 6 of 7)
This is our sixth release during release week. 1 more release to go! We’ll see you one last time tomorrow.
